Janet Boccone has been a full-time writer since 2003. Her unique ability to zero in on her client’s target audience has allowed her to help hundreds of businesses succeed through her work with The Shoppes Newsletters and by creating compelling copy for various websites and direct mail campaigns.
In addition to copywriting, Janet’s feature articles have appeared in The Globe & Mail, Elements of Home, Beautiful Beginnings, East of the City, Circa, Transitions magazine and various Metroland publications.
She has served on several board of directors, including The Writers’ Community of Durham Region (2006-2008), the Durham Home & Small Business Association (2009), and currently serves on the board of directors for the Ontario Writers’ Conference.
A stickler for proper punctuation and grammar, Janet is the editor of The Word Weaver, a 12-page publication distributed to WCDR members.
